Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing seeks a skilled Field Foreman to lead on-site field operations in La Plata, MD. The role includes coordinating excavation, piping installation, equipment placement, and concrete work, while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.

You will supervise field crews, interpret drawings, liaise with project managers and subcontractors, and ensure schedules are met. Local travel and a Monday–Friday 8:00–16:00 work pattern are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field experience with petroleum equipment systems.
• Tank piping systems, tank monitoring, and fuel management experience.
• Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm and travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform field construction activities including excavation, trenching, piping, equipment installation, demolition, concrete work, and mechanical systems installation
• Supervise and mentor field crews and subcontractors while ensuring productivity and quality workmanship
• Interpret project drawings, specifications, and technical plans and coordinate with project managers, clients, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors to execute project requirements
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards, conduct safety meetings and JHAs, maintain project documentation, manage site logistics and materials, and communicate field changes or potential cost impacts

Field Foreman

The Field Foreman is a hands‑on leadership position responsible for actively participating in field operations while directing and coordinating crew members. This person will work alongside field personnel performing excavation, piping installation, equipment setting, concrete placement, mechanical assembly, and related construction activities while maintaining responsibility for site safety, quality, and production.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform field construction activities including excavation, trenching, piping, equipment installation, demolition, concrete work, and mechanical systems installation
• Supervise and mentor field crews and subcontractors while ensuring productivity, quality workmanship, and adherence to project schedules
• Interpret project drawings, specifications, and technical plans, and coordinate with project managers, clients, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors to execute project requirements
