Job summary

CRB Water is seeking an Industrial Wastewater Process Consultant for the Northwestern US with remote work options. You will manage regional client sites, collect samples, analyze data, and report results, while troubleshooting aerobic and anaerobic systems and conducting respirometry tests.

Requires 2+ years in wastewater/operations or design, a BEng, and proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and Power BI. Travel 6–9 days/month; career growth in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial anaerobic and/or aerobic wastewater systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support existing products, professional services, and customer service at regional client sites through routine communication (in person, email, and video).
• Independently schedule and collect onsite samples, select analytes for lab testing, analyze data, and report results.
• Perform biological and equipment troubleshooting for anaerobic and aerobic wastewater treatment systems.
• Set up, execute, and report anaerobic respirometry tests (SMA, BMP, ATA, etc.).
• Conduct biological training sessions for client personnel.
• Develop solution-based proposals for prospective and existing clients.

Industrial Wastewater Process Consultant

Location: Northwestern US region, remote

Reports To: RBL Division Leader

Status: Exempt

Travel: 6-9 days per month, self-directed

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and support existing products, professional services, and customer service at assigned regional client sites through routine customer communication (in person, email, and video)
• Independently schedule and collect onsite samples, select appropriate analytes for lab testing, analyze operational data, and report results
• Perform biological and equipment troubleshooting for anaerobic and aerobic wastewater treatment systems
• Set up, execute, and report anaerobic respirometry tests (SMA, BMP, ATA, etc.)
• Conduct biological training sessions for client personnel
• Develop solution-based proposals for prospective and existing clients

Required Abilities:

• Experience working with industrial anaerobic and/or aerobic wastewater treatment systems
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, wastewater operations, or design engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, but strong candidates from plant operations are encouraged to apply
• Willingness to travel by car (4-6 hours) and by air
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Tableau, and Power BI
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs
