Qualifications

• Two years as an Environmental Engineer or an Air Quality Engineer, or five years in environmental protection project work.
• Possession of a PA Professional Engineer license or a PE license from another state.
• Valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and guide engineering and scientific staff while organizing and delegating work
• Review permit applications and ensure proper interpretation of laws and regulations
• Provide engineering guidance on applicable rules, policies, and technical requirements
• Coordinate with federal, state, and local partners to maintain consistent program operations
• Provide information to operators, municipalities, and the public and direct follow up actions
• Monitor section goals, analyze workload data, and ensure timely permit processing
