SDI Biocarbon Solutions in Columbus, MS is seeking an Environmental Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will assist with permitting, data collection, and compliance reporting within an active manufacturing environment, gaining mentorship and exposure to operational sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities include data analysis for emissions, assisting with regulatory submissions, field inspections, and supporting waste and water compliance efforts.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, Biology, or other engineering fields with an environmental emphasis.
• Clear communication and organized documentation skills to collaborate with operations and support compliance reporting.
• Minimum GPA 3.0

Responsabilités

• Assist with environmental permitting data collection and submittals.
• Collect, validate, and analyze environmental data for emissions, water quality, and waste streams; build tracking tools.
• Conduct field inspections of emission points and review corrective actions with teams.
• Support regulatory reporting including Title V, and NESHAP-related submissions.
• Develop basic training materials for environmental requirements and assist audits.
