Job summary

The role focuses on protecting the environment, reducing waste, and promoting sustainable practices across our multi-location operations. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, strong knowledge of air, water, and land permitting, and experience with ISO

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related field.
• Thorough knowledge of permitting for air, water and land regulations.
• Experience with managing an EHS management system including ISO 14001.
• Experience with multi-location plants and 24/7 operation.
• Strong focus on behavioral safety and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Administering the company’s Environmental Management System in compliance with all applicable laws.
• Monitoring, reviewing and making recommendations to current environmental practices.
• Minimizing waste and protecting the environment by preventing pollution.
• Provide leadership to overall company environmental management system.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State and Local Environmental regulations, statutes and permits.
• Prepare and submit environmental reports, plans and permit applications to local, state and federal agencies.
