Job summary

RoyOMartin is seeking an Environmental Engineer in Alexandria, LA to ensure regulatory compliance across manufacturing operations. You will evaluate processes, conduct audits, prepare permits, and monitor data to improve emissions, water quality, and waste management.

The role involves collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering, supporting capital projects, and performing incident investigations while maintaining detailed records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of EPA, LDEQ, TCEQ and other environmental requirements.
• Understanding of air emissions, water/wastewater, pollution control, and waste management.
• Willingness to travel to facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate environmental processes, equipment, and control systems for compliance.
• Conduct environmental assessments, facility inspections, and audits with corrective action plans.
• Prepare and support environmental permit applications, renewals, and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor operating data and evaluate pollution prevention and control effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to implement improvements.
• Provide environmental support for capital projects and process changes.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analyses, and recommend corrective action.
• Maintain accurate technical records and regulatory documentation.
