Job summary

Apex Companies in Greensburg, PA is seeking an Engineer 1 - Staff Environmental Engineer. You will collect samples, assist with design, analyze data, and prepare reports on diverse projects that protect the environment and communities.

We value safety, strong writing, and hands-on field work; HAZWOPER is preferred and EIT/PE is a plus, with MS 365 proficiency and open to varying levels of experience.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• HAZWOPER certification.
• EIT or PE preferred.
• Open to entry level as well as people with experience.
• Field data collection.
• Proficiency with MS 365.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
• Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Collect soil, water, air, and/or building material samples.
• Assist with project engineering design.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
• Input data into template reports.
