Job summary

WSP USA, Columbia, MD, is seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our Construction Management Team on projects in Baltimore. You will conduct site investigations, develop environmental management plans, and prepare regulatory documentation to help clients meet objectives.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, 1 year of experience, and familiarity with EPA/OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • PE license preferred but not required.
  • At least 1 year of environmental engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and state environmental regulations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

WSP is currently initiating a search for an Environmental Engineer for our Columbia, MD office.

Your Impact

Job Responsibilities:

Who You Are

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
  • At least 1 year of environmental engineering experience
  • Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and state environmental regulations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and environmental modeling or GIS software is a plus.

Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations): $68,200-85,300

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
