Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is offering an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Engineering or Science Intern/Co-Op to join our Atlanta or Kennesaw, GA office. This position allows you to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges for approximately 13 to 15 weeks during the fall semester of 2026.

You will assist with engineering calculations, reports, data analysis, and may engage in fieldwork like soil sampling. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a relevant degree, with strong academic credentials and communication skills. A valid U.S. driver’s license is required for travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Currently registered in a degree program related to environmental engineering or science.
• Outstanding academic credentials are required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license for business travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering calculations using computer-based tools.
• Prepare reports, letters, and specifications.
• Conduct data analysis and prepare visual aids.
• Engage with clients and technical staff.
• Fieldwork may include soil sampling and inspections.
