Job summary

Jack Morton Worldwide Inc. in Dayton, Ohio is seeking an Environmental Designer to join our team. You will develop creative solutions for client needs using exhibits and related projects as sales and marketing tools, from concept through production.

You will design environments across brands and industries, create photorealistic renderings, and present concepts to internal stakeholders. Collaboration with the Creative department and global teams is essential, with 3–5 years of relevant design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Industrial Design, Architecture, Scenic Design, or a related field with 3–5 years of relevant design experience
• Knowledge of 3ds Max, Vray, Adobe Creative Suite, and Unreal Engine is a plus
• Experience in event marketing or a creative solutions-based agency is preferred
• Strong communication, presentation, and client-relations skills
• Must thrive in an entrepreneurial, independent environment

**Environmental Designer**

Jack Morton develops solutions for virtual and live events. We are looking for an Environmental Designer to join our team. An Environmental Designer provides creative solutions for meeting client needs andobjectivesusing exhibits and exhibit-related projects as a sales and marketing tool. Be involved with projects from beginning-to-end based onabilityto understand sales process, productionoperationand value of product.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

• Design environments across various brand andindustries

• Provide design and visualization support to design teamleads

• Ability to manage several projectssimultaneously

• Able to create photo realisticrenderings

• Present concepts to internal stakeholders in a clear concise way

• Be responsible, organized, and accountable your work anddeadlines

• Must be able to takedirection

• Understanding of materials and building techniques

• Ability to read constructiondrawings

• Translate feedback and apply towork

• Collaborate within the Creative department and across theorganization

• Communicate with clarity, confidence, competence,professionalismandauthenticity

• Stay current with design trends and apply them to work whererelevant

**REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:**

• Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year college or universityIndustrial Design, Architecture, Scenic Design, or other relevant degree; and 3 - 5 years' experienceof relevant design experienceor similar experience successfully executing projects and programs and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Knowledge of 3ds Max,Vray, Adobe Creative Suite, as well as Unreal Engine is a plus.

• Must be passionate about working with people andbecustomer centric.

• Experience inthe eventmarketing ora creativesolutions-based agency.

• Thrives in an entrepreneurial and independent environment.

• Embodies flexibility, open-mindedness, and receptivity.

• Actively works out solutions.

• Effective communication skills arerequired: including the ability to make effective presentations; prepare written documentation including proposals,quotationsand letters;maintainaccurateand complete client and project files.

• Must be able to develop excellent rapport with existing and prospective clients.

• Effectively Communicate your design rationale.

• Exhibit the ability to multi-task, sell, andoperateunder severe time constraints and immovable deadlines. Good organization,detailand follow-up skills arerequired.

• Proficientusing Microsoft office programs.
