Job summary

WSP is seeking an Environmental Data Analytics Specialist for the Redmond, WA or Seattle, WA offices to contribute to Environment, Remediation, and Water projects. The role involves data manipulation, GIS layer management, and basic environmental analysis in a collaborative setting.

The position requires a relevant bachelor's degree and 0–1 year of experience, with familiarity in ArcGIS Pro, MS Access, and programming basics (Python/R/VB). Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related science field as listed; 0–1 year of environmental data experience.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro (ArcMap, ArcCatalog) and basic database development/management.
• Basic familiarity with programming languages (Python, R, Visual Basic).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, oral and written communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.
• Analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detail; adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Manipulate geographic and non-geographic data and develop automated data management processes.
• Revise GIS layers and create new layers following standards.
• Maintain QC standards for accurate measurement and documentation.
• Support entry-level environmental tasks on ecological systems, air, and water resources.
• Manage multiple projects, keeping on time and within budget.
• Collaborate in a production-oriented team environment.
