Job summary

Onterris, a leading environmental solutions company, seeks a senior specialist to lead the Enterprise Informatics system, coordinating across Loveland and Montrose entities to define features and drive adoption.

You will train up to 100 users, connect analytic databases, and develop user-friendly reports and dashboards while ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, GIS, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in project operations, data management, systems administration, or process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of data management, system architecture, workflow automation, and business systems.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Google Analytics).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel/VBA, Jira, ESRI/ArcGIS, SharePoint, Power Platform, and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or similar).
• Experience in the oil and gas industry, including environmental compliance and remediation projects.
• Knowledge of soil and groundwater investigations and ECMC regulations.
• Experience with proposals, cost estimating, and project management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, clients, and diverse teams.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Software selection, implementation, launch, testing, trouble shooting, and enhancing of the Enterprise Informatics system.
• Coordinate with Montrose entities and the Loveland team to define and develop desired functionality.
• Training the Loveland team (up to 100 people) to effectively use the Enterprise Informatics system.
• Cross-connecting the Enterprise Informatics system with analytical and geospatial databases and systems.
• Developing and delivering communications that contribute to widespread and effective adoption (including data input and reporting) of the system.
• Collaborating with QA/QC team to develop standards for data and queries.
• Developing the user manual.
• Developing/configuring queries, reports, dashboards.
• Advancing engagement of the Enterprise Informatics systems by client personnel.
• Developing and managing user-specific access and functionality control.

A Day in the Life

The compensation range for this role is $100k to $150k commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

• Training the Loveland team (up to 100 people) to effectively use the Enterprise Informatics system
• Cross-connecting the Enterprise Informatics system with analytical and geospatial databases and systems
• Developing and delivering communications that contribute to widespread and effective adoption (including data input and reporting) of the system
• Collaborating with Quality Assurance/Quality Control team to develop and enforce standards for incoming and reported data and queries
• Developing the user manual
• Developing or supporting development of requested queries, reports, and dashboards
• Advancing engagement of the Enterprise Informatics systems by client personnel.
• Developing and managing user‑specific access and functionality control.
• Practicing safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs

Your Expertise And Skills

To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidate will have the following credentials:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, GIS, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred.
