Qualifications

• 3+ years of related environmental compliance experience with a Bachelor's or 5+ years with an Associate or 7+ years with a high school diploma.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permits.
• Ability to interpret and translate regulations and permit requirements into guidance.
• Excellent writing, communication and public relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental, chemical management, waste management, and permit regulations at a work location.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance personnel to ensure site compliance.
• Provide training to site personnel in handling chemicals and waste materials.
• Serve as liaison with external and governmental agencies on environmental and safety matters.
• Procure services or materials for environmental and safety programs.
• Monitor hazardous waste disposal and ensure proper reporting.
