A leading clean energy company is seeking a Specialist, Environmental to ensure compliance with environmental programs, manage hazardous waste, and prepare regulatory reports. The role requires a BA/BS in environmental science or related field and 4-6 years of experience. The position is hybrid with frequent site travel (about 40%). Clearway offers comprehensive benefits and a cash bonus based on performance, with a salary range of $96,000 - $110,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in environmental fields with compliance focus.
• Experience with Federal and state Endangered Species Act(s), Clean Air Act, or Clean Water Act.
• DOT Certification for managing hazardous waste is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support safety and environmental programs ensuring compliance.
• Prepare environmental regulatory reports for agencies.
• Assist with maintaining environmental permits and relationships with regulatory agencies.

Skills

Knowledge in wildlife biology related to renewable energy facilities

Ability to read, write and understand English

Valid license to operate a motor vehicle

Education

BA/BS in environmental science or related field

4-6 years of relevant experience
