• Develop, implement, and maintain environmental compliance plans, procedures, and tracking systems.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Specialist III/IV for our client in the energy and infrastructure industry.

This position is responsible for managing environmental compliance throughout the lifecycle of major energy and infrastructure projects, including development, construction, commissioning, and operational transition.

The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting environmental permits, implementing compliance programs, coordinating with regulatory agencies, and ensuring adherence to environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain environmental compliance plans, procedures, and tracking systems.
• Interpret environmental permits, regulatory requirements, and project commitments.

Required Qualifications

Environmental Compliance Specialist III

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 4 years of environmental experience.
• Strong understanding of environmental compliance procedures, regulatory requirements, and documentation.
• Ability to coordinate compliance activities across multiple project teams.

Environmental Compliance Specialist IV

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 8 years of multifaceted environmental experience.
• Experience managing complex environmental compliance activities and resolving regulatory issues.
• Ability to lead compliance initiatives and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing and implementing environmental compliance programs for major energy or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of environmental permitting and permit-condition tracking.
• Experience with construction-phase environmental compliance and operational transitions.
• Contractor oversight and environmental performance monitoring.
• Regulatory agency coordination, audits, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience implementing corrective and preventive actions.
