Job summary

ASR Group, the world’s largest refiner and marketer of cane sugar, seeks an experienced Environmental Compliance and Permitting professional. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to drive environmental compliance across capital projects and site operations, while guiding regulatory reviews and permitting strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of progressive environmental compliance experience in heavily regulated industrial operations.
• Experience managing environmental permitting and compliance programs across multiple facilities.
• Experience supporting environmental aspects of capital projects from concept through implementation.
• Demonstrated experience developing corporate environmental programs, standards, or management systems.
• Experience interacting with regulatory agencies and leading compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to evaluate environmental requirements for capital and operational projects.
• Support environmental due diligence and regulatory reviews during project planning and design.
• Identify permitting needs and regulatory approval requirements early in project development.
• Coordinate and support preparation of permit applications, permit modifications, and regulatory submissions.
• Assist sites with air, water, wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste, chemical management, and other environmental permitting activities.
• Ensure environmental compliance considerations are integrated throughout project execution and startup.
