The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a natural science or engineering field and 4+ years of experience, with GA license preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in natural science, environmental science, engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: 4+ years in environmental field; GA Wastewater License preferred or ability to obtain.
• Computer Skills: Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and compliance databases.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication; bilingual a plus.
• Supervisory Responsibility: Supervises Wastewater Operators.
• Travel: 1-5 trips per year.
• Work Schedule: 1st shift; hours may vary.

Responsibilities

• Implement an environmental management system to ensure regulatory compliance at two locations.
• Supervise wastewater operators and develop environmental programs.
• Write compliance plans and track KPIs for compliance.
• Prepare and submit permit applications and reports on time.
• Lead waste minimization programs and ensure timely reporting.
• Maintain relationships with regulators and oversee spill response.
• Collaborate with Area Environmental Manager to influence location management.
