Job summary

Terraphase Engineering is seeking an Environmental Compliance Engineer to support our growing compliance services division. The ideal candidate will lead multi-state programs, develop our compliance practice, and help clients achieve regulatory conformity.

You will manage large projects, guide staff and vendors, prepare proposals, and deliver comprehensive reports. A strong background in federal/state regulations and wastewater compliance is required, with mentorship responsibilities for junior

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in engineering, plus 10 years of environmental compliance consulting experience.
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations affecting environmental compliance.
Experience leading multi-state compliance programs and managing projects.

Responsibilities

Maintain knowledge of US federal and multi-state compliance regulations.
Lead regulatory compliance tasks, especially in wastewater management.
Manage compliance projects, budgets, and client relationships.
Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and deliverables like gap analyses and discharge reports.
Mentor junior staff and oversee subcontractors for projects.
Provide technical reports, plans, and specifications; support business development.
