Job summary

GAS Energy Staffing LLC seeks an Environmental Engineer III for a temporary contract in Houston, TX, to support the environmental compliance team with data tracking, emission calculations, and regulatory reporting. The role may be based in Houston or Grand Junction, CO, with occasional site visits to field locations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of oil and gas environmental compliance experience, strong data analysis skills, and proficiency in Excel and regulatory programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of environmental compliance in oil and gas.
• Experience preparing air emissions calculations and regulatory reports.
• Knowledge of Title V, NSPS, MACT, and related standards.
• Experience with SPCC/Facility Response Plans.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance efforts at facilities and ensure inspection readiness.
• Prepare emission calculations and regulatory reports for agencies.
• Coordinate with operations and contractors to implement improvements.
• Oversee SPCC Plans and Spill Response Plan development.
• Manage environmental contractors and project tasks.
