Fund for the Public Interest is seeking Canvass Directors to mobilize the public on environmental campaigns, educating on forests, wildlife, plastic waste, clean air and water.

Directors will recruit and manage staff, conduct face‑to‑face conversations on front porches across the country, and train teams to sustain long‑term support for nonprofit partners like Environment America and PIRG.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience and potential, excellent communication skills, and a drive to create lasting change.
• Canvass Directors work independently, exercise good judgment and meet staffing and field goals.

Responsabilités

• Build the people power needed to win campaigns through one‑on‑one, face‑to‑face conversations.
• Hire, train and manage your own team of canvass staff.
• Educate and mobilize the public to support environmental and public interest campaigns.
