Job summary

JVA, Inc. in Boulder/Denver is seeking an Environmental CAD Designer to develop clear plan sets for water and wastewater facilities using Autodesk Plant 3D and related tools. You will learn environmental engineering concepts while contributing to design from initial schematic layouts to project close-out.

You will collaborate with Principals, Engineers, and Designers to deliver high-quality plan sets, while applying CAD standards and continuously improving design aesthetics and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Autodesk Plant 3D and Civil 3D for plan set development.

Responsibilities

• Develop clear, cohesive plan sets communicating design intent to owners and contractors.
• Perform project setup, schematic design, hydraulic analysis, site development and process design.
• Apply CAD standards and ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables.
• Coordinate notes, legends and details; participate in meetings and QA/QC.
