Job summary

Norton Healthcare is seeking an Environmental Associate to maintain a clean, sanitary hospital environment across patient care areas and offices. You will clean and disinfect a variety of hospital spaces, restrooms, and light office suites with attention to safety and quality.

This entry-level role requires no prior experience; on-the-job training is provided. You will support patient care areas across age groups, from newborns to elderly, while upholding Norton’s standards of service.

Your tasks include, but are not limited to the following for your assigned area: Cleaning and disinfecting a variety of hospital areas, rooms, restrooms, etc., along with office suites in the medical office buildings. Performs various housekeeping duties to maintain the hospital in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. Where patient/family contact is involved, demonstrates knowledge, skills and behavior appropriate to the age of the patient population served. This includes children (newborn to 17 yrs), adults, and/or elderly.
