Job summary

University Health in San Antonio is seeking an Environmental Associate to help maintain a clean, safe hospital environment and support daily facility operations for a large teaching hospital.

You will perform general housekeeping, report maintenance defects to Plant Engineering, identify and report chemical spills, assist with cleanup and proper disposal of needles and syringes, and ensure dispensers are stocked and functioning.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English required.
• Minimum six months institutional housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to fill liquid soap, toilet paper towel dispensers and other dispensers.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carries out general housekeeping activities essential to keeping University Health facilities clean and orderly.
• Reports all maintenance defects to Plant Engineering Department
