Job summary

Gundersen Health System in Wabasha, MN invites you to join as an Environmental Assistant in a casual, on-site role. You’ll contribute to a clean, safe environment and support patient care with a caring, Love + Medicine approach.

No formal education is required; however a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred and about 1 year of healthcare exposure is beneficial. This on-site position offers flexible hours based on department needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning services and indirect patient care.
• Maintain a neat, clean, safe, and sanitary environment by disinfecting, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and wiping surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings.
• Support patients and residents with a caring, Love + Medicine approach.

What's Available:

• Casual position - work hours are based on department availability and organizational need.

What you will do:

• Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients & residents
• Responsible for providing all cleaning services and indirect patient care.
• Maintain all facilities in a neat, clean, safe, and sanitary environment by disinfecting. mopping, vacuuming, dusting and wiping surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings.

What you need:

• No education required, high school diploma or equivalency desired.
• Prefer 1 year work experience in healthcare.
