Job summary

CMS Environmental Solutions LLC is seeking an Environmental Analyst in Florida to perform field inspections, prepare detailed compliance reports, and maintain SWPPPs. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrology, or related field (or equivalent).
  • Strong field and technical skills with an interest in professional certifications (CISEC or CPESC).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with environmental data systems.
  • Level 1 TDEC Certification is a plus and compensation may reflect this.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect erosion and sediment control measures on various construction projects.
  • Conduct field investigations, document findings, and prepare detailed compliance reports.
  • Review and maintain SWPPPs and related plans.
  • Manage client accounts and collaborate with contractors, engineers, and regulators.
  • Assist in environmental, hydrological, and geotechnical projects including NPDES, CERCLA, and RCRA.

What You’ll Do

  • Review, update, and maintain Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs).
  • Manage client accounts and collaborate daily with contractors, engineers, and regulatory contacts.
  • Assist in various environmental, hydrological, and geotechnical projects, including NPDES, CERCLA, RCRA, and related programs.
Requirements
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong technical and field skills, with a desire to pursue professional certifications such as CISEC or CPESC.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with environmental data systems.
  • LEVEL 1 TDEC Certification is a plus (compensation adjusted accordingly).
