Riverside Health in Smithfield, VA is seeking an Environmental Aide to perform housekeeping duties that meet regulatory standards and infection control policies. You will maintain a clean, safe patient environment and assist with supplies and equipment to support care teams.
Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and common areas with approved cleaners; restocking carts; and following safety and body mechanics guidelines to protect patients, visitors, and staff.

Hiring Range $15.00 - $19.50/Hourly
Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
The Environmental Aide performs proper housekeeping and cleaning that meets state requirements, regulatory agency requirements, facility regulatory requirements, RHS Infection Control standards, and Environmental Services policies and procedures. Ensures a neat, clean and safe work environment is maintained. Ensures adequate supplies for cleaning and assists team members with moving equipment, cleaning and beds.
High School Diploma or GED, (Preferred)
1 year housekeeping/environmental services experience in a healthcare setting (Preferred)
Certified Auto External Defibrillator (AED) - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Preferred)
