Job summary

RIMEPRO INC. is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager in the Bay Area to support complex projects with a focus on building-envelope systems, waterproofing, roofing, and exterior façades.

The role emphasizes peer design-review, code compliance, and collaboration with architects, engineers, and trades in NorCal. The ideal candidate has a design or construction background with envelope expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, and Procore.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional design experience with significant building-envelope exposure, or 10+ years of construction experience in waterproofing, roofing, façade, or exterior-envelope trades.
• Strong understanding of building-envelope assemblies and failure risks.
• Current knowledge of California building codes, ordinances, and accessibility requirements.
• High level of proficiency reading plans, specifications, details, and construction documents.
• Experience with architectural detailing, construction documents, and project coordination.
• Construction administration experience preferred.
• Strong technical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, Procore, BuildingConnected, or P6 preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed constructability reviews of design documents across multiple project phases
• Review building envelope assemblies including waterproofing, roofing, windows, storefronts, and exterior façade systems
• Identify design risks and recommend practical solutions before construction
• Review project designs for compliance with applicable building codes and accessibility requirements
• Work closely with architects, engineers, consultants, manufacturers, preconstruction teams, and construction trades
• Support transition of projects from preconstruction into operations
• Assist with development of RFIs and clarification requests during design
• Research building products, systems, installation methods, and emerging technologies
• Help develop and maintain company QA/QC standards
• Conduct internal training related to quality standards and best practices
• Support multiple project teams simultaneously
