Job summary

Cedar Springs Hospital is seeking a Housekeeper to join our fast-paced hospital environment in Colorado Springs. The role includes maintaining cleanliness of indoor areas, fixtures, floors, walls, and windows, making beds, emptying trash and restocking supplies as requested.

Applicants should have a high school education or equivalent and at least six months of cleaning experience. Excellent English communication is required, and shifts may rotate across buildings as needed.

• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
• Knowledge of commonly-used housekeeping concepts in healthcare.
• Ability to rotate shifts and/or buildings as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to speak, read and write in English. Ability to rotate shifts and /or buildings as needed. Must have knowledge of commonly-used commercial housekeeping concepts, practices, and procedures - preferably in the healthcare field.

• Requires standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
• Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds.
• Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
• Requires frequent pushing, pulling of heavy loads, kneeling, grasping, stooping and bending
• Ability to maintain patient and corporate confidentiality
• Must be able to speak, read and write.
• Emotional stability necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Vision and hearing sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Requires repetitive use of hands and light lowering of objects
• High school education or equivalent with six months of cleaning experience required.
