Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus is seeking an Environmental Service Worker II for a PRN third-shift role. You will support cleaning, sterile area maintenance, and equipment handling across patient areas and operating rooms at the Kettering Health Main Campus.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, daily documentation, PPE usage, and delivering supplies while maintaining professional interactions with staff and patients. Prior housekeeping experience and ability to lift 10–25 lbs are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of housekeeping and/or service-related field.
• Floor care experience.
• Able to lift/push/pull 10lbs to 25lbs daily.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service towards staff and patients.
• Knowledge of electronic devices (computer, tablets, etc.).
• Ability to read, write, communicate and understand written instructions given in English
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Must have the ability to plan, initiate responsibilities and follow through with the minimum direction
• Strong communication skills, attitude, and attendance.
