Job summary

Axia Environmental is seeking an Env Field Technician I / Spray-Tech (EW Division) for a full-time position in Jacksonville, FL. You will apply herbicides to invasive plants, assist land clearing on large projects, and perform aquatics management on ponds, canals, and wetlands while helping restore Florida native environments.

This is a physical outdoor role with hours from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday–Friday. A valid Florida driver’s license, ability to pass an MVR screening and background check, and

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work with a tight team in challenging environments.
• Lift loads up to 50 pounds.
• Clean, valid Florida Driver's License and pass a 5-year MVR screening.
• Able to pass a law enforcement background check.

Salary Range: $17.00 To $22.25 Hourly

This is a physical job in outdoor Florida conditions. Join the team and you’ll traverse some of Florida’s most wild landscapes including marshes, hammocks and remote upland areas. This is a GREAT career opportunity with an established, privately-owned firm and can be a long‑term position with room for advancement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum age 21 years old (for insurance purposes)
• Clean, valid Florida Driver's License with the ability to pass a 5-year MVR Screening
• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Able to pass a law enforcement background check
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Willing to work with a tight team in challenging environments
• Lift loads up to 50 pounds
