Alamon, Inc., a Montana-based employee-owned company since 1975, seeks a Tower Technician Level 1 for its Wireless Service department in Phoenix. This entry-level role supports installation, maintenance, and repair of wireless infrastructure on towers, rooftops, and other elevated sites.

The position requires an active NWSA certification and ability to travel; duties include assembling equipment, rigging, safety compliance, and teamwork to complete tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• Trade school or equivalent experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Demonstrate abilities to successfully complete job tasks while accepting full responsibility for the safe operations and maintenance of the vehicle, equipment, and tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, assembly and maintenance of wireless equipment including antennas, cables, and related components.
• Safely handle and transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from the worksite.
• Assist with the setup and operation of rigging, winches, and hoisting equipment.
• Learn and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines set forth by the company and government regulations.
• Assist in routine maintenance checks, inspections and troubleshooting to identify any potential issues.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Assist in cleaning, organizing and maintenance of tools to ensure they are in proper working condition.
• Report damages and malfunctioning tools and equipment for repair and replacement.
• Adhere to industry standards, regulations, and safety procedures per government and company regulations.
• Work as part of a crew and communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operation.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
• Perform other job-duties as assigned.
