Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Mississippi seeks an entry-level helper to assist skilled craftspersons under supervision, learning to operate and maintain production equipment. You will support setup, running, troubleshooting, and teardown of machinery, while helping keep equipment in running condition and minimizing downtime.

This role requires following safety rules, communicating clearly with supervision, and working overtime as needed to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or may have related field experience.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Field experience in chosen craft discipline and knowledge of tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot/diagnose problems with production machinery with industry specialists.
• Learn to set-up, run, troubleshoot, and tear down production machinery.
• Assist with keeping designated machinery in running condition.
• Minimize downtime by supporting PM procedures and management.
• Assist with troubleshooting machinery errors during production times.
• Work with Machine Operators to ensure machines run safely and properly.
