Job summary

Hines, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a Yard/Warehouse Rep I in Illinois. This entry-level role handles receipt, stocking and shipping of lumber and building materials, and operates a forklift safely to support inventory control and order fulfilment.

You'll work with warehouse teams to maintain organized bays, assist customers, and follow safety procedures. High school diploma or GED required; pay rate $19.00–$24.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Basic math and order-reading skills required.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Clear written communication and instruction writing.
• Experience with or willingness to learn inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and in accordance with procedures.
• Receive, stock, and count inventory; prepare orders for shipping.
• Assist warehouse team to maintain organized bays and staging areas.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Monitor inventory and assist with cycle counts as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to prevent damage or injury.
