Job summary

Connectronics Corp. in Toledo, OH is hiring a production laborer at our Wiremax facility to manufacture silicone insulated wire and cables. No resume required, but job history is considered.

Responsibilities include following drawings, feeding materials, operating extrusion equipment, and inspecting products. Training is provided; health, retirement, and flexible benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience not required, but willing to train the right person.
• Strong manual dexterity with both hands.
• Comfortable using machines.
• Able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Sustained dependable attendance.
• Interested in learning tasks and jobs.
• Ability to regularly lift 50-75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow production drawings and work instructions.
• Feed raw materials into silicone extrusion equipment.
• Assemble and disassemble extruder equipment and components.
• Inspect finished product for quality and defects.
• Wind wire and cable onto reels for delivery.
• Operate electric forklift to offload freight (once certified).
• Use calipers and wire cutting tools in the manufacturing process.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
