Qualifications

• Proficient in performing welding processes from prep to finish.
• Able to read and interpret basic fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
• Capable of in-process measurements and maintaining quality welds.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and work instructions.
• Identify materials needed for assemblies.
• Prepare material for welding (cutting, cleaning, deburring, grinding).
• Fit and position components using drawings and fixtures.
• Tack and weld assemblies with GMAW, GTAW, and laser as qualified.
• Maintain weld size, location, and appearance.
• Perform basic cosmetic finishing and dimensional inspections.
• Identify defects and communicate with supervisor.
• Keep workstation clean and organized.
• Follow welding procedures, safety rules, and quality standards.
