Kloeckner Metals Corporation is offering an entry-level welding operator role designed to develop welding skills in a production setting. You will work in a team, focus on productivity, quality, and safety, and participate in training across welding, grinding, material handling, and packaging to build hands-on proficiency.

No prior experience required; comprehensive on-the-job training is provided to help you grow within the manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a clean / orderly work area.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Entry-Level High-Volume Welding Operator.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures at the facility.
• Complete all training sessions as required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating and welding products to drawings and voucher specs using correct materials and welding procedures.
• Inspect welded assemblies to ensure tolerance.
• Complete the appropriate quality documentation and production voucher information.
• Maintain high quality results.
• Will be trained in welding, grinding, material handling, and packaging.

Job description

This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals that desire to develop welding skills within a production environment. No experience is required. On the job training provided!

Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Fabricating and welding products to the drawings and production voucher specifications using the correct materials and to the appropriate welding procedures.
• Inspect welded assemblies produced to ensure tolerance
• Complete the appropriate quality documentation and production voucher information
• Maintaining high quality results
• Will be trained in; Welding, Grinding, Material Handling, and Packaging

Qualifications

• Candidate must always maintain a clean / orderly work area
• Forklift and Crane operation will be required, prior experience is a plus, but not required
• Entry-Level High-Volume Welding Operator
• Candidate must adhere to all safety policies and procedures in place at the facility
