Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Maintenance Technician I in Bedford, Indiana to support our O&M team in maintaining water treatment equipment. This entry-level role performs preventative and corrective maintenance under supervision to keep systems running reliably.

You will assist the Lead Maintenance Technician, keep tools and spaces clean, and repair components like pumps and motors. Flexibility for all shifts is required and safety rules must be followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 0–1 year relevant experience.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team-based environment.
• Prior water or wastewater facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Maintenance Technician with maintenance tasks.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces.
• Prepare maintenance rigs and daily tools.
• Repair or replace pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, belt presses, and other components.
• Maintain records of work orders and completed tasks.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance tests and inspections.
• Adhere to company safety policies and health procedures.
• Available for all shifts including weekends, holidays, evenings, and on-call rotations.
• Other duties as required.
