Job summary

Arcadis seeks an Entry Level Water Engineer in Austin, TX, to support resiliency, stormwater, and wastewater projects in the Los Angeles area and surrounding region. You will eval, plan, design, and assist in developing strategies for resilience and sustainable water management.

Responsibilities include preparing technical reports, budgets, schedules, and fieldwork such as site visits and water quality analyses, with opportunities to learn AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and H&H models.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering or closely related field.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Dependability and eagerness to own tasks.
• Knowledge of water/wastewater/stormwater concepts and practices.

Responsibilities

• Aid in planning, designing, and implementing innovative projects
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and documentation
• Ensure project compliance with industry standards, regulations, and sustainability goals
• Assist in preparing project proposals, budgets, and schedules
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials.
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to supervisors
• Perform fieldwork activities such as site visits, construction inspection, sampling, water quality analyses, asset inventory, flow monitoring set-up and monitoring, and technology evaluations.
