Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking entry level Engineers for our Charleston, SC location. Candidates will perform both field and office work within the areas of Water, Wastewater, and Environmental Engineering.

The role includes assisting with studies, site visits, data collection, and preparation of reports under the supervision of a Senior Engineer. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and a valid driver’s license are required; 0–3 years of experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 0–3 years experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of computer spreadsheets, word processing software and/or CADD is helpful.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Engineer with engineering studies, designs, and specifications.
• Visit job sites to perform project tasks as directed by the Senior Engineer including sample collection, drilling oversight, surveying and construction oversight.
• Office work may include engineering design, data tabulation, and preparation of reports and proposals.
