Dewberry's Danville, VA office is seeking an Entry Level Water / Wastewater Treatment Engineer to work on all phases of civil/environmental engineering, including planning, design, and construction management of water and wastewater facilities.

Typical projects involve municipal, industrial, and federal clients. The position offers exposure to design, reports, client communications, and potential travel within the local area.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field required; MS preferred.
• 0-2 years’ experience; internship experience encouraged.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with modeling software such as Biowin, Visual Hydraulics is a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Plant 3D is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within the local area.

Responsibilities

• Design water and wastewater treatment processes for new, assessment, and rehab projects.
• Develop, evaluate, and prepare construction drawings and specifications.
• Prepare technical reports.
• Meet and correspond with clients; provide marketing support.
• Perform engineering calculations for water/wastewater projects.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver projects on time.
