Jacobs is seeking a soon‑to‑be or recently graduated Civil or Environmental Engineer to contribute to water and wastewater projects in the Northeast. You will work on green infrastructure, stormwater and treatment processes, applying your civil and environmental knowledge to design solutions for clients.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering with coursework in civil/environmental topics, and are willing to learn Jacobs’ software tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental or chemical engineering with relevant coursework.
  • Concentration in civil/environmental/construction topics is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn Jacobs’ software tools.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to water and wastewater projects for clients in the Northeast.
  • Apply critical thinking to hydraulic, site/civil and process mechanical design tasks.
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver yellow projects and client outcomes.

Jacobs is currently seeking a soon-to-be or recently graduated Civil or Environmental Engineer to join our team. Your immediate work will focus on solutions for our water and wastewater projects and Clients. You will work on a variety of exciting projects that apply your critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

With Jacobs, you’ll work on green infrastructure, stormwater collection/conveyance, water and wastewater projects to provide site/civil, process mechanical and hydraulic design solutions. You should be self-motivated with a long-term desire to grow personally as well as professionally within the Northeast. Each project will provide career opportunities while delivering transformative projects for our clients.

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering
  • Coursework with concentration in civil, environmental and/or construction
  • Conceptual knowledge of process mechanical designs, drinking and wastewater unit processes and technologies
  • Willingness to learn Jacobs’ proprietary software tools

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS
  • Involvement in professional society organizations, community organization or other leadership roles with volunteer organizations

The base salary range for this position is $65,500.00 to $90,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
