Thatcher Chemical is hiring a Warehouse Clerk I to perform standard shipping, receiving, and material handling with limited supervision. You will ensure accurate documentation and safe movement of chemical products.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, verifying shipments, cycle counts, and material preparation for production. The role requires a high school diploma and relevant experience, with growth opportunities and strong safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires basic warehouse and inventory knowledge.
• Forklift operation and safe handling skills.
• Familiarity with SDS, labeling, and warehouse docs.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.
• Clear communication with logistics, production, and QA teams.

Responsabilités

• Load and unload trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Verify shipments against bills of lading and POs.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments as directed.
• Prepare materials for production and coordinate staging.
• Package and label finished goods per DOT and internal rules.
• Maintain organized storage and proper chemical segregation.
• Identify and report damaged, expired, or mis-labeled products.
• Train and mentor new Warehouse Clerk I staff.
