Job summary

Ferguson in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an entry level Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will safely operate a stand-up forklift, pull and prepare outbound orders, and use RF devices to sort and ship items.

Responsibilities include receiving, staging, stocking material, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while adhering to PPE and safety rules. Prior warehouse experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management preferred.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
• Focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and adhere to PPE and safety rules.
