Job summary

Citi is seeking an entry-level Universal Banker in Oakland, California. This role is designed to assist in sales and service activities while fostering strong relationships with individual consumer clients. You will be responsible for account opening, resolving service issues, and executing financial transactions according to bank policies.

The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of related experience and excellent communication skills. Compensation ranges from $50,030 to $65,270 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including medical coverage and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous retail banking or similar experience required.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers.
• Provide service delivery to internal and external customers to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Create sales opportunities out of service transactions and resolve customer complaints/issues promptly.
