Qualifications

• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
• Flexibility to work during holidays.
• Must be able to obtain an Alcohol Permit.

Responsibilities

• Drive with an experienced driver to transport beverages to retail accounts.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety.
• Assist delivery driver in unloading products.
• Verify daily load with the company load sheet.
• Ensure products are secured during transport.
• Navigate to delivery locations using GPS or other tools.
• Provide friendly customer service during deliveries to stores.
• Stock shelves with company products daily.
• Report delivery issues to driver or supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized delivery vehicle.
• Follow company and retailer policies and procedures.
• Comply with truck driving regulations and company rules.

We are seeking an Entry Level Truck Driver to join our team in Athens, GA. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL and a passion for driving. This position is perfect for someone looking to start their career in the transportation industry.

CDL Class A Entry Level Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive alone with an experienced driver to transport Beverages to retail accounts
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
• Assist the delivery driver in unloading products from the delivery vehicle
• Daily verify delivery load with company load sheet
• Ensure that all products are properly secured and protected during transportation
• Assist the delivery driver in navigating to the delivery location using GPS or other navigation tools
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering the company products to retail stores in a friendly and professional manner
• Stack retail accounts shelves with company products daily
• Report any delivery issues or concerns to the delivery driver or supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
• Perform other duties as assigned by the delivery driver or supervisor
• Ensure compliance with all company/retailer policies and procedures
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Valid CDL license
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly

• Good physical condition and stamina
• High school diploma or equivalent
