Job summary

Alpine Tree Service is seeking an entry-level Trimmer C to join our Michigan-based crew. This role supports trimming, pruning, and removal operations on varied sites, providing ground support and upholding safety, efficiency, and quality standards on every job.

Travel across Michigan and the mid-west region is expected, with opportunity for hands-on training and advancement as you gain experience. This position offers full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Tree service or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Willingness to learn and advance within the company.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in trimming, pruning, and removing trees as directed.
• Perform ground operations including dragging brush and feeding the chipper.
• Operate hand tools and equipment such as chainsaws and pole saws (with proper training).
• Maintain ropes, rigging equipment, and tools.
• Load and unload trucks and materials.
• Follow all company safety policies and ANSI Z133 standards.
• Maintain job site cleanliness and safety.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
