Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
• Engineer in Training Certification preferred.
• Experience with Synchro, SimTraffic, Excel, AutoCAD or MicroStation is a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to work on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trip generation estimates, roadway volume development and parking estimates.
• Analyze field data, reports, maps, drawings, blueprints and tests.
• Obtain and interpret regional transportation planning data.
• Use planning software and equipment to prepare documents.
• Prepare or modify planning documents, including traffic impact studies.
• Collect field data and serve as onsite project representative.
• Develop conceptual layouts for transportation improvements and prepare design sketches.
