Job summary

Kleinfelder's Delaware team is seeking responsible candidates for highway design on transportation projects, under guidance of an experienced project engineer or project manager. The role is an in-office position in Dover or New Castle, DE, with responsibilities including design tasks, document preparation for ad/construction, and cost estimates.

0–3 years of design experience is acceptable. We seek BSCE graduates with potential EIT, strong communication, and proficiency in Office and design

Qualifications

• BSCE from ABET accredited program required.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MicroStation, and InRoads/Geopak.
• Experience with highway transportation project delivery for State Agencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform highway design tasks under guidance of an experienced engineer.
• Prepare engineering documents for advertisement and construction.
• Assist in cost estimates and manage multiple design projects.
• Work in-office in Dover or New Castle, DE.
