Pinnacle Equipment LLC is seeking an Entry Level Trailer Mechanic for the 1st shift (Sun-Wed, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM) to inspect, maintain, and repair trailers under guidance from senior mechanics. You’ll gain hands-on experience while supporting day-to-day fleet maintenance operations on site.

The role emphasizes learning foundational mechanical skills, adhering to DOT safety standards, and accurately recording inspections and repairs as part of a fast-paced mobility operations team.

Qualifications

  • Vocational training or certificate in diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment technology.
  • Knowledge of DOT inspection standards and regulations.
  • CDL preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections of trailers to identify mechanical, structural, and safety issues.
  • Assist in repairing and maintaining trailer components, including brakes, lights, tires, and suspension systems.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as lubrication, fluid checks, and tire changes.
  • Diagnose minor mechanical issues under the supervision of senior mechanics.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and parts used.
  • Ensure all work complies with DOT and Company safety standards.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Assist senior mechanics with more complex repairs and learn advanced repair techniques.
