Primary Purpose

We are hiring for many manufacturing and production positions in aerospace. Qualified candidates will discuss specific roles they are interested in and qualified for. Positions are open at Selmet, Inc. and Pacific Cast Technologies, Inc. (PCT) in Albany and are available on a variety of shifts. Entry‑level pay ranges from $18 to $22 depending on position, skills, and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Parts mover, sandblaster, review parts for visual and dimensional conformance.
• Work with wax parts or molds, knock off shell material from castings.
• Work in the foundry area and more.
• Training is provided for all positions.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Solid job history with at least 1 year at recent employer preferred.
• Ability to read and understand written materials with on‑the‑job training.
• Basic high‑school level math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to understand measurements; read and use measurement tools correctly.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Flexible on shift, including swing or weekend work.
• Desire to work with hands in a production environment.
• High‑school diploma or equivalent GED required; candidates not meeting this who possess relevant experience will be considered.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Willingness to undergo a pre‑employment background check.

Working Conditions

• Frequent work near moving mechanical parts.
• Physical effort includes lifting, pulling, reaching, manipulating, carrying, pushing, or shoveling.
• Manufacturing requires repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and arms.

Shift Schedule

• Swing Shift – Monday to Thursday (4×10‑hour days) – $1.00/hour shift differential.
• Weekend Day Shifts – Friday to Sunday (3×12) – $1.25/hour shift differential.
• Weekend Night Shifts – Friday to Sunday (3×12) – $2.50/hour shift differential.
